Whose Reality?

Unlike many, childhood wasn't the typical atmosphere of play, laughter and innocent interaction with others but rather spending much of my world in the solitary boundaries of thought and imagination.  Alone but far from lonely and spending my playtime in my mind.  Playing with what was seen and heard in my mind.  Seeing the world as how the other children may have seen it.  Thinking thoughts they may have felt and feeling emotions they may have felt.  It was and still is a world lived in the mind and not in this world.

Such is the life of a loner and introvert ... the lone wolf.  Seldom heard and rarely understood ... but real.
